Looking Back at the Cavs Playoffs & What Big Picture Moves Could Be Next

Cleveland was outpaced by a noticeable margin by the Knicks, to say the least. The outcomes weren’t close. The Cavaliers were defeated by double-digits in all games of the series with their median margin of defeat being 14.5 points (which is more forgiving than their average margin of 19 points, but also, a 37-point deficit in Game 4 does a lot to skew that average).

Cavaliers Have Defied Momentum to this Point; Up Come the Knicks

I don’t know what to make of this Cavs team.

So far, they have played back-to-back seven game series during this NBA Playoffs. Both series have seen the Cavaliers and their opponents tied at a 2-2 game split after four games. Both series have seen the Cleveland squad narrowly secure a Game 5 win, seeming like momentum could be on their side.
